Caring for Your Nuvaglass Eyewear

Proper care can help keep your sunglasses looking their best and reduce unnecessary wear over time. We recommend handling your eyewear carefully and following these basic care practices.

Cleaning Your Sunglasses

Gently clean the lenses and frame with a soft, clean microfiber cloth. Avoid using rough fabrics, paper towels, tissues, or other materials that could potentially scratch the surface.

If additional cleaning is needed, use a suitable lens-cleaning solution and follow the product's care instructions where provided.

Protecting the Lenses

Avoid placing your sunglasses lens-down on tables, counters, or other hard surfaces. When your sunglasses are not being worn, store them in a suitable protective case or another safe location.

Keep the lenses away from sharp objects and abrasive surfaces that could cause scratches.

Avoid Harsh Chemicals

Do not expose your sunglasses unnecessarily to perfumes, cosmetics, solvents, household cleaning products, or other harsh chemicals. These substances may affect certain lens or frame surfaces.

Handling & Storage

Handle your sunglasses by the frame rather than repeatedly touching the lenses. Avoid bending, twisting, or applying unnecessary pressure to the frame or hinges.

When storing your sunglasses, choose a clean, dry location away from objects that could scratch or damage them.

Heat & Environmental Exposure

Avoid leaving your sunglasses for extended periods in extremely hot environments, such as inside a parked vehicle or directly beside a strong heat source. Excessive heat may affect certain frame, lens, or coating materials.
